Our Mission

Productive, efficient and innovative chemistry services in support of organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and drug discovery research.
We have a strong expertise in synthesis and characterization of compounds, combining a rock solid organic chemistry background with advanced NMR studies and long established collaborations with renowned industrial and academical international partners. Under the leadership of a strong and experienced synthetic and medicinal chemistry management team, we are able to synthesize compounds in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet the needs of our partners, developing reliable and scalable processes, from milligram to kilogram scale and, therefore, posing the basis for the industrialization of the new products. Particularly attention is given to the asymmetric synthesis of chiral compounds.

Who we are

4AChem S.r.l. is an academic spin-off of the Department of Chemistry and Biology of the University of Salerno and it is located in Fisciano Science Campus (Salerno), Italy. The core business of 4AChem S.r.l. is the development of efficient, innovative and sustainable chemistry processes for the production of fine and bulk chemicals by organic synthesis as well as the marketing of these products and their derivatives.

The spin-off was awarded of Bracco Award-2021 at Borsa della Ricerca.
